The Union Pacific Railroad celebrated its 150th year with a stop at the Boise Depot and a declaration marking Boise as one of its ?train towns.? Hundreds of railroad enthusiasts and history buffs gathered at the depot to see a sleek Union Pacific passenger train carrying the Promontory museum car. A scale version of the train gave rides to families, and model train displays and other curiosities filled the historic Boise?Depot.
