Director for public health in Yorkshire and the Humber, Paul Johnstone, said: ?Obesity is one of the most important and pressing public health problems we have to tackle.
?Childhood obesity is still unacceptably high in Yorkshire and the Humber region.
?If you are worried your child might be overweight then please talk to your GP.
?By taking simple steps now you will be giving your child the best start you can for a healthy future.
